It has been ages since I have had the time to add to this blog. I have kept details and records of everything and I hope to add these over the next few weeks when I have more time. In the meantime I have added some up to date pics this weekend. I just had the site levelled off this week to tidy it up but I'm not having it landscaped or lawn done until next year due to lack of funds ;-(. The gate will also have to wait until next year. It makes a huge difference just having the place tidied up a bit anyway.
Moved in on May 1st and since then there have been a number of crises, including the biggest one being with the tiles, long story but eventually got issue sorted. I'll add the details of that another day. Also went over budget and had to get additional funds from bank. Thank god for tracker mortgages ;-)

Hi Just wondering were did you get your internal doors, are they wallnut or teak, did they cost much. they look really nice
Internal are all solid teak and are from Munster Joinery, Ballydesmond. They don't usually sell doors to residential customers but as I ordered all windows from them I got them to agree to supply doors too. I'll double check the price I paid tonight for the 14 doors. I varnished them before they were hung and this was well worth the time and effort.
