This is a diary of my self build in Blarney Co Cork.It is a 4 bed, storey and a half house. It is 2,200 sq feet. The site is completely level. Work commenced on Tuesday 12th February 2008.
I am looking at your window in the Green bedroom. Are there other windows in the room or is that the main means of escape? Wondering where did you get it? I have a Velux that is too high on the sloped roof and I need to get something like you have.
Haha - main means of escape! Ya there is another window. Check out the dormer window under the pic headed 'Site levelled October 2009'. Thats the other window for 'the green room'. I got it in Parkers, that building supplies place off Commons Road in Cork. It was more expensive alright than the usual Velux - around the €300 mark if my memory serves me well. Good luck!
Thanks for reply. So that Velux is in the opposite wall to the dormer? Can I trouble you to get the model number off the window for me please so I can ring the shop?
