Update July
I have added a lot of pics today of the progress over the past few weeks. The weather has delayed the start of the roof but the plan is to commence that tomorrow morning. There are 3 people on the roof team. All the roof timbers are already cut. We put the scaffolding in place for it last Saturday. I am still waiting on 2 other plastering quotes so as it stands I just have the one for €13k. There are lots of business cards being dropped into the site now by plasterers, plumbers etc. I'm looking at getting the roof slates from Northern Ireland from a company that specialise in reclaimed slates. They have very good quality reclaimed welsh grey and bangor blue slates. I've looked at a house in the locality that got them from there and they look really well. Just waiting on a quote from them now. Job this week is to get quotes from electricians and do an update on budget to see if thats still on track.
